Overview
PNGase F is a highly active amidase that releases all N-linked glycans from glycoproteins by cleaving between the innermost GlcNAc and asparagine residues. It is the standard enzyme for complete N-glycan removal prior to intact mass spectrometry, charge variant analysis and glycan profiling in mAb characterization workflows. Supplied as a stable ready-to-use liquid formulation.
Workflow
Key Benefits
Complete removal of all N-linked glycans including complex, high-mannose and hybrid type structures
Enables accurate intact mass determination by eliminating glycoform-related mass heterogeneity
Simplifies icIEF and CZE charge variant profiles by resolving glycosylation-linked charge variants
Compatible with standard denaturing and native deglycosylation protocols
Suitable for N-glycan release prior to HILIC-FLR and LC-MS glycan profiling
Animal-component free recombinant enzyme for use in regulated analytical workflows
